1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to LiveMock.ai (the "Service"), operated by LiveMock.ai Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), a company incorporated federally in Canada. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and services.

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

2. Eligibility & User Accounts

You must be of the age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account. By using the Service, you confirm you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized activity, contact us immediately.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your profile updated.

3. The Service

LiveMock.ai provides AI-powered mock interview practice. The service is currently in beta, and features may change or become temporarily unavailable. Use is granted on a personal, non-commercial basis.

4. Personal Information & Privacy (PIPEDA)

• Identifying Purposes: We collect personal information (e.g., name, email, user feedback, usage logs, and transaction history) to deliver and improve the Service, enhance personalization, analyze usage, and maintain security.
• Consent: Consent is obtained via a checkbox at signup. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing unsalalp10@gmail.com. Withdrawal may affect your access to the Service.
• Limiting Collection: We collect only the information necessary for the identified purposes. No sensitive personal data (e.g., demographic, health, or location data) is collected.
• Use and Disclosure: Personal data is not sold or shared with third parties. It may be used in the future for AI training in an anonymized form only. We may disclose data if legally required.
• Accuracy: Users are responsible for providing accurate information. Correction functionality will be implemented in future updates.
• Safeguards: Information is stored securely using AWS Canada infrastructure via Supabase. We strive to protect data through administrative and technical safeguards, although no system is 100% secure.
• Retention: Information is retained indefinitely unless deletion is requested.
• Individual Access: You may request access to or deletion of your personal data by contacting unsalalp10@gmail.com. Access tools are currently being developed.
• Accountability: LiveMock.ai Inc. is responsible for compliance with PIPEDA. See Contact section below for how to challenge compliance.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Submit abusive, unlawful, or inappropriate content.
• Reverse engineer or misuse the Service.
• Submit personal data of others without consent.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and platform features are the property of LiveMock.ai Inc. or its licensors. You may not reproduce or repurpose the Service without permission.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." We make no guarantees regarding accuracy, availability, or outcome. AI feedback is not professional advice and should be used for educational purposes only.

8. Limitation of Liability

LiveMock.ai Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to use or inability to use the Service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LiveMock.ai Inc. from any claims or liabilities arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms. If changes are material, we will provide notice. Continued use of the Service after updates implies acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the Province of Ontario.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if you breach these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by emailing us.
